Dirt Disciple
Getting back into mountain biking after 15 years and would like a 90's frame to build an old school bike.

A 21 inch orange p7 or clockwork would be ideal :D

I have an 853 tubed Saracen Kili frame £80 posted. NOS with a couple of small marks (build up once never ridden). 21". There's not much more old-school ;)

Reynolds 853 tubing
Ritchey dropouts
Lovely wishbone rear stay

I have two of them, this one now surplus to requirements.

Here it was built up:

I don't remember much about saracen's, how does it ride and will it stand up to a reasonable level of abuse?

Are you sure it is 853 tubing and not tange?

Is the steerer 1 1/8th?

Which year is it from?

will stand up to loads of abuse (my other one has!).

I have a brochure that states 853 on it so have no reason to doubt it. This one is undecalled. Let me know if you want me to email it to you.

1 1/8"

Around 1997 I think.

Yeah I'd be interested to have a look. My email is jules.jx@gmail.com

Also what is the steerer length of the forks you have on it at the moment? (trying to get an idea of what suspension forks I can fit)

email sent.

steerer would need to be a reasonable length - say 200+

If you need exact measurements let me know.

head tube is just under 160mm so your steerer would need to be 220 to be safe. You might get away with less though with a low stack headset/stem.
