Any examples of lightweight French racing saddles?

Man! I had been on the look out for these and they’re as rare as hens teeth! When I was trying my french build - I was thinking Sachs but the Sachs Canti’s were Italian !
Very nice!
What’re you going to put them on? And curious to know how they perform. What’s build quality like ?

They’ll be heading onto the french build, which took a hiatus due to parts like this. Haven’t tried them yet but seem solid, some thought has clearly gone into the design and don’t feel cheap.

Peugeot was the first french bing brand to believe in mtb. In 1983, in LaPlagne, some mtb Peugeot branded where present. But some small builder made mtb since 1983 : Raymond Crozet with Mecacycle fir exemple who built one of the first carbon fiber mtb in 1987. We got other brands like Follies, Berthould, Philippe… and Liberia. But Sunn is one of the most famous brand well known with its Team. Sunn creator actually got hus own brand called Commençal.
We got Emery too and the designer Jean Billion developped one of the first MTB Look in carbon fiber in 1987 ( he rode that bike in the first worldchampion Ship in 1986 in Villard de Lans) and worked for Look anither time in the mid nineties.
And don’t forget Vitus

for part, we got Specialités TA which give the name Specialized to the US brand, Stronglight, Mafac, Ideale, Lyotard, Huret, CLB, Rigida, Michelin, Wolber, Hutchinson… and Mavic
