I didn’t know I liked off-road biking until a mate decided on Glentress (trail centre) as part of a stag do. Loved it so went off and bought a bike. I’m old and run 80s and 90s motorcycles so thought I’d go retro. Totally got me back into riding and tinkering with push-bikes.
Ride it XC or to shop and pub with the Pace forks and flat bars. If planning a ride with scary steep bits I stick on the Z1 Bombers, risers, shorter stem and a helmet (after breaking bones on first few rides helmet seemed like a sensible purchase). Bike works great either way even if I don’t.
Not exotic or even original – certainly not B.O.M – but loving it and brought me to Retrobike. Thanks to all for advice and bits for this and other retro ploys.
