Yes, sorry @Woz this is a 650b conversion.@Guinessisgoodforyou - looking over that MBK again, the part you would expect by default to be Mafac is a Campag & Dia-Compe combo. The frame has been modified for allen key brake fittings too (I'm 99.9% sure this was not done in 1974). Thinking out loud, I'm wondering if this frame was originally for 700c? Just look where the brake blocks are on the already long reach arms.
