Even so. Have found hardly any information about Mavic rims for tyres. Practically gave up, and tontonvelo didn't really throw up anything either - just came to the conclusion Mavic was all about lightweight race tubular rims only in the very early days.

We need Mavic catalogues for conclusive proof. I have seen lots of Mavic 650b rims. There was a rumour that Mavic binned stacks of 650b rims in the 80s because they couldn't sell them. Edit maybe closer inspection of Daniel Rebour drawings would benefit.
