There is also the Bebolux. It is more like a roller cam design in modern bike language.

Unlike a centre pull, you have no chance whatsoever to alter the spring tension per arm so each one hits the rim at the sametime.

These things IMHO require some serious baby sitting and maintenance to work as intended.

According to most sources they're called "Jeay" brakes, and their design dates from the 1920's, but I've always thought that was a brand name.
