Powder-coated? Why would one do that to a Manitou FS? Put in some elbow grease an polish the damn frame...(unless you're trying to hide some shoddy repairs?) Now the rear fork part is ruined too (cosmetically speaking).

spot on, its been repaired and to be honest no matter how hard you polish it the repair is naked unless hidden under powder

As a Manitou (stupid) obsessive with 'ahem' several FS' I was going to buy this as a daily rider but was put off due to the powder coating especially on the rear end.
