After much consideration I realised that I wasn’t keen on the flange on the white Oury grips - and don’t think the black Grips work - so I pulled the trigger on Grey V2 Oury grips without the flange - when I get them I’ll see if it works !

Pretty sure this is the same Venturi looking at the logo. An Italian bike shop in Cesena, there’s a few lines on Classic Rendezvous saying it was founded by Augusto Venturi and reading the article on the other link his grandson is still alive and running the bike shop.

Thank you for this invaluable information and the links. I’ve been pondering over who the maker is, the rider and the history of the frame.
I had a look - the info gave me some more leads so I’ll be doing some digging.
There’s not much else on the net and there’s. Venturi team cycling jersey on eBay - but I can’t seem to find their website but I’ll be sure to write to them for more information.
