Velo hub?

I acquired these off an old Dawes bike from the 1960s. I haven't found any information on "velo" hubs. On the rear wheel it has made in Czechoslovakia engraved into it as well. It seems like a flip flop hub?

Was common back then to have a flip flop hub, the 'other side' is for a fixed gear and lock ring

Yep........ fixed / free :)

The rims look like 70's or later. They tried dimpling and grooving the later steel rims to improve braking in the wet. All it meant was that you made a "weeeeeeeeeeeee" sound with the brakes as you went into the back of the bus which had stopped to pick up passengers :(
