I know im'a complete php noob, but i'm finding it quite difficult to look for any parts i might be interested in. I have read the "Search for Keywords:" but maybe im doing it wrong.

Example
If I search for - Hope Disc - It returns all posts with either word. How do i search so that the results returned only show posts where the words Hope AND Disc appear together/ consecutively?

Also can u not search for words that are only found in Topic Title "only" ?

how about trying the google search too - although you can't search by category it might find a match more easily

I've tried the AND thing and its just the same - some posts with hope and some with disc. is it just kinda limited?

If entering more than 1 term, use the Search for all terms option..

Have you tried this too??

Don't forget it searches the whole thread as well..

...yup, ive tried switching the radio button between any terms & all terms but no difference :(

its a bit of a puzzle to me too
however i tend to use the least significant but applicable word

eg looking for posts relative to a scott super evolution recently

so scott will pull in loads of hits
super probably more
so i go for evolution
narrows it down a bit

using the forum option allows a finer search ,if you do them one at a time it narrows things as there is some that your relevance will not appear in
so readers wives pre 97 is a good start

think logically and narrow it down your self
it's quite good fun
