Useful 3D prints.

All this talk of breaking, is it that brittle? can you not mix something stronger in with it? sorry if thats a dumb question, not really looked into it properly

Oh, and Wheels Manufacturing for spacers, they do 8.3 ;)

Some people will be able to and you can get all sorts of plastics and reinforced or flexible plastics (and if you had the money and machine, metals)
But my simple, getting old printer is only setup for simple stuff.

And £20+ for some cut off tubing, me thinks Wheels Manufacturing are taking the piss.

Re:

I use PETG, it’s more flexible and far less brittle than PLA. You can get loads of different plastics these day like polycarbonate, peek, abs etc. Some have carbon / glass fibre strands in to improve strength.
The problem being that they print one layer at a time. So you are relying on molten plastic to stick to the previous layer, which has set. So the fibres are only in each layer and not connecting the layers together.

 thats why i didnt put the price of them on, they are hard to find elsewhere though.

I have lots of parts drawn up and ready to print including Syncros Stem caps for slanting top stems.

My only problem is that I have just one printer which is almost running constantly. My list of things ready to print is growing faster than I can print them. Some of my work prints are 30+ hours each.

If people want bits, I can design them, but printing them may take a while.
