USE SX Shokpost question.

OK, I already have a NOS Shokpost and it works great, lots of travel etc.
Just bought a used one in very good condition but it's much stiffer than the old one.
Doesn't seem to move much.
Could it just need a lower rated spring?
Have adjusted it but not much different.

Take the spring/bumpers out and then check it's not to stiff and is well lubed up.
Then check the colours for different spring rates compared to your other one

Ok, have just looked at spring rates and at 14stone I'm the purple spring, that's the highest.
Could have been sitting about for a bit before it was sold.

Let some GT85 soak inside and it's better.
Other problem is the seat is 180 degrees out, the logo is at the back
Probably needs taking apart and altering....listing says it has the tougher spring.
