Ultegra Transmission upgrade?

I've been given a pair of newish Ultegra 11 speed levers after damaging my old 10 speed ones, question is will they work with my Ultegra 10 speed rear derailleur if I upgrade the cassette/chain to an 11 speed?

You need a 11spd rear mech as well as the parts you've listed to make it work

Might need a new freehub/rear wheel as well.
Depending on if your current wheel is 11 speed compatible or not.

thanks for the advice, due to possible cost I'll probably stick to the 10 speed and blank off the 11th click......

I don't think the 11 speed levers will work correctly with the 10 speed cassette

They won't work with a 10spd cassette, it's all or nothing.

10 speed road has the same pull ratio as 9-8-7 road and 9-8-7 mtb.

MTB 10, 11 and Road 11 have different pull ratios. (Think MTB 10 and 11 are the same, but not had a fiddle myself)
