Turner Burner DH Frame

*An "oh gosh, has this really been sat doing nothing in my garage for over a year?" bump*

For sale is my tiny little Turner Burner DH frame, from 1997.

Original paint (very subtle yellow...) and decals, with only a few marks/scrapes, certainly fewer than could be expected on a bike which was designed for throwing down
hills against the clock. The worst is on the underside of the downtube, where a previous owner obviously ran a fork with adjuster knobs which didn't quite clear it. There
is no dent, but the paint has gone.

There are no dents anywhere else either, and no cracks. Given the weight of the thing, I'm not surprised. It's the sort of thing a cockroach might take shelter in during a nuclear winter, for a bit of added protection.

Pivots are all nice and tight, and it has the Turner grease ports to keep the bushings fresh.

It's small. I think it would probably suit someone around 5'4"-5'9".

Pics:

A bit of flaky paint & some decal damage:

Down tube paint:

Bit of cable rub on the head tube:

Discolouration/corrosion on the rear triangle:

Comes with the XT front mech and Race Face Deus headset pictured, though neither are period.

£250 posted. DM me and/or post here if you're interested :)
