A lovely almost new pair of wheels with White Industries H2 and H3 hubs (28h) with titanium cassette body, laced to 2 cross Sapim CX Ray spokes with aluminium Polyax nipples on the front, brass rear. Rims are Ambrosio Crono F20, unmarked, with Sapim CX Ray spokes and Continental Competition tubulars which are almost unused, 5 years old and stored in dry and dark so well seasoned.

I was on the internet looking for a pair of ambrosio wheels and I've found this nice website and this post.
I's the occasion to ask you a few questions ...and practise a little english too! (I'm from FR).

I'd like to know if a 2 cross sapim cx ray spokes build is stiff enough for road cycling for someone who's weight is 78/80kg? for trainning and competition (a little) use.

Do your wheels still available? Campagnolo or shimano freehub?

Sorry if I answer you a little late, but I was very busy last days.

Concerning the wheel, I'm in front of a dilemma :? ,your wheels have been very well built, but I'm not sure they'd be stiff enough (maybe they are), but the real problem is more than they're not shimano.
I bought 2 years ago an old but nice pair of wheels that have a campagnolo hub (it was a bargain). After that I bought some marchisio campagnolo sprockets with some shimano spacers (the grey ones, in plastic), but that didn't work very well. I tried it yesterday again. I don't know why, maybe should I make a mix with campagnolo and shimano spacers.
So I would really prefer to find a shimano freehub, but it's not enough. To replace a white industries campagnolo hub to a shimano hub, you need to replace the axle and end caps too. So has you said, it's not a cheap solution. It would make an expensive set of wheels. I'll see.
