Tubeless tyres blowing off rims in a hot car? Help?

Are they TLR tyres? Or just ordinary snakeskins? Schwalbes switch over to tubeless Ready has been a bit patchy, i've had a couple of fairly recent tyres that should have been TLR, but as they were year old stock, not "current model year", they weren't. i.e. whats the full name on the side. EVO/TLR/Snakeskin/Pacestar etc.

And AFAIK the Snakeskin is the slightly tougher sidewall, not the lightweight one.
And FWIW, tyre levers can damage/bend/tweak the bead. And some beads are susceptible to tweaking.

Hi the tyre walls say evo, snakeskin,pacestar....

But no TLR?
They *might* be non-TLR tyres, you'd have to check tho.

(I think anything with EVO and Snakeskin should almost definitely be TLR, but i've not bought tyres for a while, so not looked into this in any detail for a while, check the Schwalbe homepage!)

Sorry does also say tubeless ready and pacestar triple compound...

So its either a failed/damaged bead (Tyre levers), not seated correctly (damage to the rim?), or your pressure gauge is way out (tubeless will blow off at a relatively low pressure, ~50 psi, if your gauge is out, you *may* have exceeded that with the extra heat in the car)

Or a combination of the three.

I'd be getting myself onto one of the german sites and buying a couple of new tyres, and fitting them properly (no levers).
Or seeing if on-one have anything decent on clearance (they had under half price schwalbes last time i looked. 20 or 22 quid for 50+ quid RRP tyre)
I'd also be looking closely at the rim for dents, dings or flat spots. Any of those could help the tyre off the rim.

Hi

The track pump is only a month old a top peak joe flow, and as far as I can tell gives an accurate reading. I have checked over the rims and they seem sound no flat spot and not egg shaped. Besides surely they would have come off on the 25 miles offroad before? Just seems odd that both went at the same time in a hot car...

I'd guess the temperature in the car is the reason they popped... Slightly unrelated but many moons ago a mate of mine arrived at the trail with a big hole in his sidewall. He had the bike on a rack and the tyre was directly in front of the exhaust  .

I suspect it's a combination of all/any/some of the above.
going from room temp to 80-90 degrees in a car will add about 10-12 psi to a 40 psi tyre. (Calculating in my head) so, on its own, shouldn't cause a blow out.
