Tubed V Tubeless

Yes. I have two or three of them.
None of the bikes with them fitted have had a puncture that's required the strip to need repair or replacement since instalation. No reason why they shouldn't last another 10 years. Probably a net saving over buying tubes of equivalent weight.

Not to mention the increased traction and reduced drag.

Tried tubeless and will probably go back to it at some point.

Mmmm even though I'm getting mixed opinions about tubeless I'm gonna give it a try, after all I can't comment on the system without giving it a go. I mean that's like saying 29'ers are shite without ever having ridden one :mrgreen:

I tried it, I still don't "get" the benefits, still have to carry a spare innertube.

I'll give it another go this summer, when trails are dry and riding speeds higher, that's when I tend to get pinch flats, which the tubeless setup should negate.
