Trip to Tintagel

So next week I am off to Tintagel for a weeks holiday with the wife kids and my mother and aunt are tagging along looking for things to do when i am down that way never been to Cornwall, wont be riding so not to bothered about anything bike related, Need some sort of variety as kids are 8, 10, 15 and 19 and mothers disabled scooter to get about.

Travelling isn't an issue used to it when i stay in Wales when we stay at the caravan just ideally best places and if any suggestions on places to visit and go and also best to avoid.

Also looking for stop off ideas and suggestions for the journey down will be M62, M6 and M5 right the way down looking at it till we have to jump on some A roads, recommended ETA from Liverpool is between 5-6 and a half hours. So the stops will be needed to stop the little ones getting to restless and the frequent "are we there yet" noises that i am expecting.
