trials and how its come on

I used to really like trials, always impressed with the antics of Hans Ray and those two dudes with the same first names jumping around on Cannondales (what were there names?)
I never really got into it but recently i've started piecing together the most gash looking trials bike ever, made from a cut-down 1996 Raleigh Max Lite..... it really is a bit nasty but its fun just to jump around on til I decide if I still like trials or not
It amazed me how big the whole trials thing has got really, wasn't expecting that.

and martin hayes he rode the giant now that giant was one hell of a crap frame for trials i know mine had a monster crack in the head tube from new didnt notice till it snaped it was nly 2 weeks old how peved i was  but im cool now on my woodman elite and ashton rep cannondale

The Martins started out on rockhoppers didn't they?
BITD all my riding buddies rode a bit of trials, it was something to do when we couldn't get out for a full ride. Fitted a massive purple rock ring to my xc bike and away we went. Never could master the back hop for more than a couple of hops but my front wheel hops were pretty good, had some wicked endo variations as well including a no-handed version with my knees on the bars.

i was way into trials a while ago ive had about 4 trials bikes (3 trials specific)
my most recent was a retro trials bike (sunn trials)

i could gap about 6ft from still and i could do like 50 pedal hops and drop about 4ft off something - but as no-one i know is into it i just give up.

i loved the martins in bi-king - very funny video i think

heres the sunn - http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... light=sunn

Anyone remember the Wendover Bash organised by Goeff Apps & crew, it always involved MTB trials; seem to remember a young Scott Dommett winning most. Where are you Scott?
