Hi Luc,welcome to the forum,,, I also have a a Trek VRX and really love it,definitely going to keep it till either it or I break,,Tried a few different set ups with it and am now running a fox air shock and find the lockout helps a lot on the trip to the local trails and back, they really are good bikes but seem to very rare on these shores,,Your Y22 looks lovely, really nice smooth lines a definite "Looker".
Hope you enjoy RB as much as I do,I have found the members to be a very helpful and generous bunch.
Hope to hear more from you.
Mark

Hi Mark,

Thanks! I think the VRX rides and handles really great! Next thing planned is to put some disc brakes on it. I have got a pair of Hope's. But mounting it on the rear isn't easy :D Looking for an adapter.

The y22 rides great to but I think it's more suitable for road or XC use. I'm going to replace the cranks voor Cook Bros cranks.... because that will look even better :D

if its that 20 mm mounting on the rear as i had a y22 for a short time had the same thing a2z components do a 20mm to IS bracket hope this helps

My first mtb was a trek - a blue 850 22 in frame bought half price.

Sold the frame as was too big for me.

Not many about in fact i have not seen one like it on this website.

Thanks! And that is the adapter I need. So now I have to find out where to get it. I will first check some local shops.
