not very retro im afraid guys n gals but i figured someone might have a need or use for them :)

1st up are these....

usual scuffs expected on 10 year old forks, but this is a bit more nasty...

van004-1.jpg

looks like the rotor bolts have worked loose at some point and munched their way into the leg, it hasn't worn through so i guess we'll call it 'cosmetic damage'
i really dunno what their worth so if we say £15 + post at cost - PROV SOLD

next is a Trek frame...

again, loads of scuffs/ scrapes but no cracks or major dents, its a 21" and it weighs bugger all so might be usefull if someone with much longer legs than me wants to knock up a pub bike :)
comes with the seat post but not much else, if you want to run discs i'll also give you the funny little caliper brackety thing, plus the knackered ole seat if you really want it
price ? dunno !! how about £20 + post

also got the mechanical disc brakes off it, nowt special but complete with rotors, calipers, levers n cables (cables very frayed at caliper end), no pic at mo other than this one.....

£10 + postage ?

or......

will swap any off the above for a 180(ish) rotor to suit Hope C2 calipers, or a decent mtb tyre, i need one 24" and one 26"
or anything else that might be useful :D

thanks all :)

iv given the fork a quick wipe over so the damage (hopefully) shows abit clearer.......

looks nasty eh !! it hasn't worn through though thankfully !!, forgot to mention the steerer is just over 230mm long and the fork could do with a strip an re-grease, there is no play in them, they have been sat in the shed for years and sound a bit 'dry n springy' when you work them,

the brakes....

as you can see, all sport a few scuffs and the paint is flaking on the calipers but hey - their cheap
i do have both rotors (160mm) and i think i still have the bolts somewhere, the only thing you'll maybe need are some alignment shims,

the mount on the rear caliper is a wierd combo but the bracket shown above is the part thats stays with the frame - if you know what im on about :D

Hey Chrissy H, check your Retrobike personal mail, or tell me what's up with the brakes that you have for sale on here. I've sent you a couple of messages with nary a cheep.

Cheers
Steven

Chrissy H, after 17 days 3 personal messages and 2 forum post reminders I can only conclude you have no intention of selling these brakes and are wasting my time.

Keep them.
