I was going to get some more pictures taken today but it is like Siberia outside.

Any requests for pics? areas that you would like to check?

Re-price, sorry no idea. Offers I guess. But please remember that my opening post said that I had two options. If the bike isn't worth too much then I will go for a set of shocks. I don't want to let anyone down.

Cchris2lou - you mentioned 90-92, any more info on this? I am not too worried if the shop lied. It is a top bike and has worked perfectly.

there is a 8700 in the 93 catalogue .

ther were certainly early 90s ,

you need to ask about price in How Much is it worth thread in retro chat , but even with a top groupset on it like shimano M900 I doubt you would get more than £200 / £250 .

a set of modern forks would ruin the geometry and handling .
