Definitely keep up with the build thread please. I'd like to see what you're doing.

For cleaning up the inside threads, the only decent way to remove rust is to tap them out. M6 i think from memory. If you can get a bolt in though that'll tell you if the threads are ok. Another thing to do with threads is to coat with an anti-rust treatment like ACF50: it works well and very easy to do.

Canti studs should be easily removed with a good 10mm spanner, but the bonded frame mounts I would not recomended even attempting to remove.

surface rust on canti mounts is really not a problem just clean them up with some light sand paper or wet and dry.

I’ve sorted the studs
Remove the BB that was a lots of work (hammer & saw)
King headset cups are also out
NOW before I apply a carbon grounder & a clear lack on the composite tubes I’m gonna have to do something about this gone dark aluminium…
