Totally different animal to Kicks Al....i think they were £22 when Kicks were £8 or somesuch......the premium was well worth it mind (instant stop-deads on any 5/7'scourt.. in virtually any weather). From memory i think the corresponding boot by Adi was the 2000 (the first time the mad stitching ever appeared on the toe area). Those was the days my friend

I bought a box of Tachinni trackie bottoms off the owners son when i was a kid, they were'nt heard of then. Though psuedo intellects on BBC2 now reckon the fashion icon was started in Ealing or somesuch...i can promise it morphed out of that box.
There used to be a bloke on Bury market years ago that used to stock some really rare shoes. I got some great trainers from there.
There's a shop full of it in the dam, the owners got the lot out of thier box's with floor to ceiling displays everywhere you look, proper nos '70's shoes, dealer boots, monkey boots, those efforts with the zip up the side....shops well trippy..so i bought a pair.
Whythenshaw is such a nice place.
I went out with bird from up there early '80's, next news the Snowdons were on her knocker (door) wanting to interview the out of towner (moi)
