Tow bar bike rack????

Looking to buy a tow bar clip on rack type as have an old Subaru forester that's too tall to easily use roof bars. Seen a Thule 972 on eBay near me and was wondering f anybody as any experience of his type of rack or recommendations?

Looking to use for just the one (or two if I getaway with it)

yeah they are very good racks

i sold mine a while back but wouldn't hesitate buying one again if i had a towbar

Bear in mind you will need a trailer board to keep things kosher.

Yes they're good, in laws have one with integrated lights/plate.
It locks to the ball and can be lifted off with the bikes still locked to it, best of both.
Expensive though, but I'd use a tow ball rack as the best solution.
Maxxraxx is another brand that allows the use of the ball.

got a tow bar rack, board etc and absolutely loved it....focus aint got a tow bar though

Er, lovely but a little excessive for my needs and means. Was thinking more of cheap as chips but does the job!
