Top Speed, which Brakes?

I'm risk averse. I went over 46mph once. Somewhere near Pitlochry. With shimmy 105 caliper brakes. I think that was my max and I was smart enough not to repeat it.

I’ve never been one for max speed either, chickened out today heading north off Sheriffmuir when I remembered the cattle grid.

I still remember one of the old boys in my club hurling past me on fixed coming down Whinlater into Portinscale.
