Today's ROAD ride

I've been to Scotland, and the scenery impressed me mightily for the first couple of days, but after that the endless green hills, black rocks and painted sheep began to get a little boring, to be honest. I prefer just a wee bit more life in my scenery.

Re:

Now THAT looks like a proper climb!

Just how small are the seatstays on that frame!

Painted sheep? :? I'm lost with that one

Mike

Thanks to my ride last Saturday, I've found that I enjoy riding up and down hills on quiet country roads more than I enjoy riding along flat cycle paths.

Here's a pic of my new playground, Fenwick Moor, from yesterday:

Re:

Wow, looks a lot less boring that the Highlands of Scotland.

Nice to be riding with No1 son though. Mine's too tall and too fast for me to keep up with.

Re:

You're looking at it wrong Neil - he's now strong enough to push you when it all goes tits up

Plus he can carry luggage, tent, ale and tools

Hmmm, I like the way you're thinking.
