Today's Ride

Bear in mind if you're averaging 12mph, you've got that in your face for starters.
So if you rode in a big 10 mile circle in a 15mph wind, there's only a couple of miles where its actually at your back at up to 3mph, which you'd struggle to feel!

I was going to do the maths...

Living on the coast I've learned to just accept the eternal headwind, but the biggest pain in the arse is doing routes that are A-B then back to A, having what feels like a pretty strong headwind all the way there and dealing with it based off the hopeful salvation of a tailwind for the return journey, then finally doing a U turn and heading back just to discover it's infact an even worse headwind šŸ˜‚

Pre work power hour this morning, 17.24 miles/27.74km and 894ft/272m elevation in 1h:07. But slower than I'd have liked but as mentioned above, eternal headwind. Very keen on the new tape, not perfect but a decent job for first time wrapping.
