Today's Ride

I ditched the garage sweat-box this morning for a stiff ESE 17-20mph breeze, 7 degrees felt like 5. Pretty hazy on the tops, thick cloud. Those indoor sessions are paying the bills for the headwind resistence 👍

Que up the Pat Metheny group...

Managed a nice long one today on a route I'd been planning for a while; from Sunderland up to Newcastle, along Gateshead side to the Derwent Walk Railway Path leading down to Consett to get onto the last leg of the C2C route, then home. Came in at 112.76km/70.06 miles with 948m/3110ft elevation, just barely making it my longest yet. Definitely need to purchase some type of Garmin solely for routing purposes as stopping and checking Google Maps is becoming a hindrance.

you're the man! 👍 I've never managed to ride nowhere near 100km in one sole day. the most was around 70km on mixed on/off-road rides for me, which happened multiple times, but above 100km for "just a ride on a random day" seems like seeing an UFO for me.
