We had a mini snowstorm here in Belgium so here is the result of it as I saw it:

Nearly went down just the once,what looks like wet tarmac is ice ,no salt or grit on these back roads.

First ride since before Christmas. Had some horrible cold type thing for what seems like weeks. First Friday I’ve had enough of my mojo back to get out there. Great to see many of you have still been getting out.
25 or so miles on the North Norfolk coast in the cold, did another chunk of the King Charles Coastal path. Improvised coffee/cake break in a church yard as most of the cafes were closed. Made up for it with extra cake and coffee back at the end! My boots and gloves got their first real test since buying them.

Mid morning while the air temperature was just below freezing it was quite pleasant sat in the sun! I can’t wait for arms and legs out in the sunshine rides again.

Due to festive period and a run of bad weather took up until today to have my first proper ride of the year. 48km and 475m of elevation at a brisk 2c with some slight breeze. Had been fiddling with the seat position prior to setting off and hadn't noticed I'd forgotten to secure the saddle bag through the rails until an hour in

First proper day out on the Inbred, absolute dreamboat. Think I'd almost brainwashed myself into thinking I was gonna be slower due to the weight of it compared to the Kona I was running previously yet average speed remained the same and PR'd one of the tougher hills around here Feel like I'd prefer it with a flat bar and I wouldn't mind sourcing various On One finishing bits either. Will end up 2x9ing it in the next month or two as I plan to do the c2c on this later in the year and I don't think a 42t up front and the lowest in the back being a 32 will be suitable lol

I had a similar inbred myself a while ago. spent most of its time in singlespeed mode. really loved it.
