Today's Ride

Great stuff squirrel chaser. The up and coming generation. My Grom started seriously at 11 and is now SO competent. And nice grizzly look in the last photo...like it.
Thanks , I push them gently {mostly} so they get more out of it . They've been riding since they were 3 . Our problem is largely where to go .

ok, so the weekend - with the permission of Mrs. Hombre :) - was spent away on my own in the mountains (accomodation in my parents' old weekend house). just the bike, the dog and me. two days, two rides and a few short walk with the dog.

I was invited to participate in the 45th anniversary of the 1978 ride from Crested Butte to Aspen in Colorado, over 12,700' Pearl Pass. Here is the famous photograph. (I'm fourth from the left.)

I don't own an e-bike, but I told the organizers I would need one for the ride, since I live at sea level and I'm now 77 y.o.

Here is what I did on it.
