Started out as a small evening ride in my local area, but kept going and got to enjoy a fair variety of landscapes here in the Northern parts of Aarhus, Denmark.
An evening ride again. Cloudy but very pleasant at 20°C with a bit of a breeze. After a couple of rides on the Stumpy during the week, I took the Ridgeback today, and very well behaved it was too. A very peaceful ride for 26 miles with just farmland and more farmland for photos.
The lad's turn to come up my way, so off around the reservoirs again
Mixed it up and did a bit of a slalom with each dam- down one side, cross over. Down the other, cross over, etc
Lovely day
A short commute into Newcastle. A view of the Tyne where the Derwent tributary joins it. The Scotswood bridge in the distance & the old Vickers factory on the north bank.
The threat of rain was all over the forecast. It was polite enough to let me get home first.
Under the road bridge at Swinton. Bankside of the remaining mile of the Dearne and Dove canal.
The view from Rawmarsh across towards Old Denaby on the left, Thrybergh in the middle, and Aldwarke on the right. In the foreground on the right is Liberty Speciality Steels, currently under the watchful eye of the Serious Fraud Office
