Today's Ride

Re:

Alright- it is good, isn't it. An old friend of mine used to say "The hardest part of riding a bike is getting your leg over the top tube" - True That--- Today-Tuesday- Warming up around here, about 71 F. and sunny. No hills today, just an easy flat ride to spin out the legs...

I had Gripshifts on my Funk for years, but shifting the front got to be too much of a pain, so I recently changed them out and it's much easier to ride now.
Today-Wednesday- A spectacular Fall day around here, about 70 F. and sunny. We took one of our usual climbs up to the Scout Camp today, and the recent rains have made the grip in the woods fantastic, with almost no mud. On the descent back to town, a porcupine came out of nowhere and scurried across the road right in front of me at a pretty fast part of the descent- definitely got my heart rate up... :)

Today-Sunday-Rode up into the Water District and then along Concrete Pipe Fire Road- It has a pair of water supply pipes buried under it, but the pipes emerge at some of the sharper turns. at the bottom of the climb in Deer Park, we checked out a new bridge across the creek that was being built today by the Water district and some Boy Scouts- Nice out, about 65 F. and cloudy,,,

feck me!!! I probably weigh more than both of you!!!
