Today's Ride

Think workbikes is/was a thread. Personally think posting your work ride/utility rides is inspiring. If it triggers the thought in even one person about the ways in which they can enjoy cycling then it’s worth doing. I post as it’s one of the multiple small ways I motivate myself to keep getting out each week. @highlandsflyer sorry that was meant to be a reply to your post!

Had to stop off for a picture.

36.80 miles/59.22km, 1888ft/575m of elevation, bit of a slower one today. After bottling the initial 100 mile attempt a few weeks back I've been aiming for a mix of shorter intense rides ie a local 10 mile loop, and then the occasional longer one at lower efforts. Have also managed a ride in some capacity whether it be a quick 30 min loop or out for a few hours for 10 days running (would've been 17 but it pissed it down on the 16th which broke the streak lol). Gonna try and get something longer in the books tomorrow (50/60ish) then short early morning loops until Wednesday when I try 100 again

Woke with an urge this morning: 'Have to go for a ride'. So I did. Just getting over a chest infection, which weighed in on my energy levels. I managed to eke out just under 20 miles. Sore, bloody sore, but feel great. I've enjoyed this bike very much in the time I've owned it, but I've decided to retire it so that something else gets a turn.

Today, modestly, after work, around 5:00 PM, I went to eat something by the Vistula River, beautiful weather, beautiful area...
