Out again today.
The clicky ticky noise is still there. It sounds a bit like spokes “tinging”, but they all feel perfect to me.
I’m leaning towards rear hub bearings.

Your saddle reminds me of Gonzo !

It’s not the most attractive thing is it…
I’ve been struggling with saddles for a while, I’m not 100% convinced about Gonzo, but I think I like it.

Sadly I ride up that and not down but at least it is steeper and faster to go down the other side. I turned off again today though and hit the tough bumpy stuff. Absolutely sucked at it today too, should have stayed on the tarmac sections and wouldn't have had to clean the bike then either. Oh well still a good ride.

Today I went as a tourist to check what's going on at the local river, which I haven't been to for about 10 years.
The area is wild, the river is wild, it's beautiful.

It was the last ride of GT Timberline

Post-work ride, really nice to get out, even in the dark. Very windy up on the tops tonight.

Down at River level



On the way up, a nice 'holloway'



At the top - The Pack Horse in Affetside, overlooking, well, everywhere (Manchester, Winter Hill, Ramsbottom etc)



Then a short tumble back home all the way down.

Just under 8 miles.

Now to wine and dine.
