26er-do you use studded tires?
Yes, I do! Here's some pics I took for you this winter. Studs, the drivetrain and my winter helmet... and yes, you're absolutely right -- it's "never straight, but always forward" no matter how hard the wind is blowin or how much ice and snow there's on the road... ;)

Very cool studded tires, 26er-we don't have much use for them around here, but would be nice to try out someday. Today-Friday-A beautiful spring day in the hills of Marin...

Re:

Bit of an explore today. Up Stanway (road) hill and then onto a bridleway i've never been along before. It never ceases to amaze me how lucky I am to have all these routes on my doorstep.

Heading back after a loop past Farmcote.

Hard to capture just how green the canopy is at present. Vibrant.

It's not often I can post anything on this excellent thread :)

Joydon's Wood, out in the suburbs of South-East London / North Kent. The bluebells were out in force with a wonderful scent, I had the wood to myself.

Me and my wingman Warwick (who besides being an extremely reliable companion happens to be a very accomplished mechanic never missing a chance to show off his extraordinary skills, here by pulling my saddle off its post) out riding grades and trails of the mighty BJ.
