Well it was an exciting day for me, with some trepidation thrown in for good measure, as I took my new
(e-mtb) out for its first run....
A long drive down from where I live to another beautiful place called Strathconon.

I rode this back in 2015 on my old Alves, so was intrigued to see what difference the new bike would make.
Parked up and got ready, bearing in mind I hadn't even thrown a leg over this thing yet!

And away I went, heading off along the track.
Stopping along the way for the obligatory photos!

Having just moved off after this shot I was greeted by 4 stags running across the track and through the woods you can see, but doubt it was the same ones I saw back in 2015 coming back to laugh at the old man on his new fangled machine!
The track carries on and eventually culminates between two hills where it then shoots right and up onto the hill.
The formation of the river that can be seen in the second pic is pretty much barely a trickle once at the top.

Looking back where I'd come from....

Was a cracking day out, absolutely love the new bike, it's like a bulldozer but capable of great finesse, basically unstoppable when climbing, and the boost of power when tackling something difficult is a welcome treat too.... made me feel like a cycling god!

Cracking day on an absolute weapon of a bike, what a machine.... best fun on a bike yet!
Ultra-comfortable, smooth, fast, agile considering its heft.... it does not feel like a heavy bike!
The Stooges may find themselves up for sale very soon as I can't see them getting out much now!
To anyone considering such a machine I would say go for it, it's addictive fun and highly recommended.
