Eldridge Grade... if I remember things correctly that was the name of my first MTB back in the 90s. Now I finally get to see it. Thank you!

Re:

Yeah, a number of MTB companies used trail names from around here for their bikes' names-Eldridge grade was built in about 1882 from Ross to the top of the East Peak-about a steady 7% grade up 2500' in 5.7 miles, with lots of rocks near the top.--Today-Thursday- was Spring around here again, about 74 F. and sunny-the Magnolia trees are blooming-Climbed up about 900' to the West of town today...

Zero this morning. Got covered in London road muck. Will be chilly on the way home and I'll get held up at Lewisham due to roadworks.

Basically this for the past 3 months and probably for the next 2.

Just about the exact middle of Winter and we still have Spring weather around here-70 F. and sunny

Apparently this so called "global warming" is pretty much restricted to California for some weird reasons. Our local magnolia won't bloom for another 3 months... or 4. As usual and nothing new, unfortunately.

Today a few pics from a semi-hard ride in semi-blizzard...
