Today-Friday-Still Spring like conditions here in the middle of Winter-74 F. (23 C.) and Sunny today. Rode up Iron Springs Road to the Scout Camp loop, about 900' climb-Fresh wildflowers are popping up already...
While it hasn't rained again here in 3 weeks, we will still need more rain by official Springtime. Right now, our lakes are all full, so no worries currently-Which means-Enjoy the weather, and it's still really nice out here, about 68 F. and sunny. The dirt is just about perfect right now, traction wise-and No THM, I don't want some when it is so unseasonably nice out here! 5 of us rode up into the Water District today, about 1400' climb total...
A couple of us rode from Osmington Mills to Portland in Dorset for the afternoon.
We didn't start until lunchtime and finished in the dark! Weather wise it was around 7 degrees but at least dry and didn't rain until we got back to the car!
We did some urban hacking over to Weymouth and around Nothe Fort and then onto Portland and did a road/off road lap linking the quarry's up as we went along.By the time we got to the bill we had about 50 minutes of light left and the wind was biting cold so we didn't hang around.
Nice pics of the waterfront-the old sailing ship looks interesting...Today-Monday-About 66 F. and sunny, up to the West of town about 900' into the Church of the Redwoods...
