I'm not sure... but every time I spot a 29er I end up feeling shocked.
Maybe it's the size of those big hoops that is intimidating.

Made by my fair hands, out of Columbus tubing.
Have you not tried the wagon wheels yet? I'm a firm convert now, for the type of riding I do anyway

This was my first attempt at frame building so stainless is a way off for me yet.
One day though, maybe :D
 
I've done a bit of welding myself restoring old cars and I used to race Italian bikes made of Columbus SL tubes a long long time ago, so now I feel a little less intimidated... ;)

Welding your own frames is impressive. Respect.
