Hi ishaw,

I need some help to determine sizing please - I'll buy on behalf of a friend who's in USA at the moment; does anyone know what size rider this was supposed to fit?
If the size is suitable, consider it sold.

Hi, I'm not sure what the full biek weighs as I don't have the scales to weigh it properly, but it is damn light when compared to my modern hardtail which is a Giant XTC running XT/XTR.

I can try to get a weight, but only have kitchen scales which I fear won't go high enough.

With regards to the size of rider it will suit, it is all down to personal preference, but I' m 6ft and it would be fine for riders of that size if you like to run a long seat post, but I'f think it would fit ridrers anywhere from 5ft 5 upwards, depending on leg length.

How long is the syncros stem please?

Well I'm 5-10 and it was my Bike before Ian so I would say your friend would have no problems with the frame size.

Just to concur - I was a big Raleigh fan in this era and this would be my size - I'm about 5'8/9.

Never had one of these though, was always out of my reach at the time. Kind of tragic to see it go so cheap, but also brilliant that people get the chance to enjoy one
