Titanium mtb frame identification

Dirt Disciple
Hi guys,

I picked up this frame the other day and was hoping someone could help me ID it. It was sold to me as "probably a Mongoose", apparently made by Sandvik, so it may be but I have no idea. Photos below showing what seem to be the key characteristics...

The front half of the downtube is flattened, and the rear half is ovalised. Hourglass seatstays and chainstays that appear to have a join in the middle? Lovely dropouts and very nice cable guides. Disc tabs appear to be original.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

Not a Mongoose, too late with those disk tabs, but potentially a Ti Sports - the sport branch that was sold off from Sandvik.

Yep. Looks like Ti Sport. Oddly doesn't have the MADE IN USA stamps.

There's a thread about Kona serial numbers on here with some info too.

The drop outs look very similar to the ones on my sandvik DBR Axis TT. Not sure I've seen any frames with chain stays in anything other than a single tube, unless they've been designed to be split for belt drive or something like that.

Yeah, what I'm seeing on the chainstays might just be chunky external butting before they start to taper towards the dropout.

Strangely enough the later Ti Sport frames apparently don't have that stamp. I ran into another guy with a very similar frame, TST/Ti Sport. Same situation, no MADE IN USA stamp.
