Isn't it just a Torus (?) XT that sold as standard with the X-Lite forks for around the grand-ish mark?

I remember riding one of the demonstrators when they came out. Very nice ride and the front end was incredibly direct. Never rode anything else with same accurate feeling to the steering.
The spec shown was the std XT one and definitely more than 4 built. Remember seeing one in a local raleigh dealers and at least one out on the trail. Would quite like one but the price is far too high.
