this M trax turned up today

This Mtrax came in today and not particularly a Raleigh fan i dont know much about it

so any1 have much info on these

gave it a quick clean and once over and managed to find some rsp bar ends as that was all it seemed to be missing

looks hardly used and prob been sat in a garage for years

to me a 1997 M-Trax 100 Cromoly

Nice frame and clean look, but drive train, wheelset and brifters are low price entry level stuff and would profit from a better donor bike equipment.

I dunno, Acera-X has always done sterling for me. Especially if it's seen little use and pivots are still nice and tight. Only thing I'd upgrade is brifters for something more decent & use the wheels until worn out then rebuild with DT Swiss & nicer hoops
