As the sun is still shining couldn't resist doing a test fit to see if I've got the Black/ Flouro ratio right. Still the Magura's to fit and would like some flouro bottle cages. The steerer definately needs shortning but happy so far

So I'm going to call the spray job done...not to the quality of the Lotus by a long way but this one has fought me all the way. Just finalising decals with @gil_m then the fun bit starts...rebuilding...still a few complications to solve but should be ready for York

It'll look better when it's had time to harden and I can go over it with compound. Because the frame was in such a state it's been a right PITA

Can't beat a bit of Flouro....and Anno for that matter....the 90's were all about bling

Bugger...the Sram 9.0 front derailleur doesn't fit due to the elevated chainstay due to it's low clamp design. I have a year correct XT m738 top pull which fits but it's really not doing it for me.



Any idea's for late 90's derailleur's that would go with the rest of the Sram 9.0 groupset? There are high clamp Sram's but can't see a 9.0 one

Omg I forgot about the exact same problem I had and the odd set up - I settled for the Shimano compromise but clearly with your level of pain tolerance and perseverance I’m expecting a brilliant if left field solution from yah!
