Mostly modern bits. BB7 Road, 10sp campy. RS3 with atb spider. . I find it amusing that 110 Atb = Road compact. It's got a monster old Tioga 53t ring on it atm.

build up with parts I had lying around and a *new* frame
if I enjoy the ride I will most likely upgrade the bike in the future

Whilst my future plans for the re-build of this recently acquired mountain bike do not include drop bars, their inclusion in the previous owner's build somehow makes sense, considering its history. And no, while the bike is now mine, the giant, black SUV is not.

If anyone reading this knows of a Tesch LC-1 for sale or trade, I am very interested in owning one as the perfect compliment to this FUSO. I figure as soon as brazed steel mountain bikes made in very small quantities in Southern California by ex-Masi builders who would have preferred to create road bikes becomes a theme for BOTM, I should have very little competition.

How about this?
My early 90's Rockhopper/Stumpy...not sure which...chucked together using the 20year parts bin from the uber shed!
Only modern part of any significance are the Sora Sti units.
Rides real nice...and the dog can even keep up when I am on this.
