Me.
You can see it at the previous page

Has anyone done full suspension, that works, with drops?

Don't know whether they worked, but google image search doesn't pull up much, a few Bianchis, a Moulton Space Frame (though that had suspension to compensate for the small wheel size), and a frankly lush Boulder: http://sellwoodcycle.com/blogs/blog/107 ... ad-machine which looks like it has less than an inch of travel at each end.

Based on my experiences - front suspension - too scary on downhill braking (weight transfer) if you have much travel, if you have little travel, you end up with a very heavy fork that doesn't work as well as a decent "rigid" one.

As for the rear, frankly if you want the "comfort" a suspension seat post would give the same benefits with far less weight/faff.

All that being said, if you've got all the parts lying around, go for it, we won't make progress if we keep saying it can't be done.

Re:

That gives me an idea - Cannondale Super-v with drops would look bonkers.

More sensibly something like an amp B3 with matching fork could work well with drops - still nice and rigid in all the right places. Hmm and I have a spare b3 frame in the shed....

Interesting Boulder that - a road bike with a bit of suspension. Good to smooth out cobbles perhaps...but
more serious off-road in the wet it looks like it would take too much of a beating.

Hi! just found that thread!

Here is my Cannondale M700, campagnolo Icarus groupset with Athena Carbon Ergopower shifters. I know, the stem is too long, but can't find one 1 1/4 shorter

I have seen it before, but I need quill and no more than 80-90 mm 1 1/4.

PD: Pleased to hear from you, whats about Litespeed? :)
