This photo is interesting - not cos of my nephew posing (it was his birthday) but he’s at a place called ‘view point’ a special place where the 3 mountain ranges meet at the mighty River Indus - behind him to the right the great Himalaya range which starts far to the East from the borders of Burma and India comes to an end - to the left of the photo and overlapping the end of the Himalayan slope, the Hindu Kush range ends at that slope - to the rear of them both, dark and rising up and vanishing behind rises the Karakoram range -

Also The Rakaposhi range in the Karakoram with Diran, Haramosh, Bilchar Dumani and other Karakoram peaks. Shot with my 18 year old 6MP Konica Minolta 7D and some nice Minolta lenses (24mm f2.8, 50mm f1.4 and 210mm f4)
