First one is at Amhuinnsuidhe near the Castle, second at Mevaig North, third is at Seilebost (you can make out a glimmer of rainbow colours in the snowstorm in the distance) and the fourth is at Stockinish, looking across to the snowy mainland hills over frozen lochans.
Yesterday morning heading up the Clisham on the way to Harris I clocked this absolute monster of a Golden Eagle sitting upon a boulder surveying his territory.... pulled over to try and get some pics of him and managed to get remarkably close. I know it’s not a super-sharp photo as I was having to zoom in with the iPhone. Still a very impressive and beautiful beastie though!
