They were taken in Harris in the Western Isles, I live in Stornoway in Lewis.... ‘tis a beautiful island

Yesterday morning heading up the Clisham on the way to Harris I clocked this absolute monster of a Golden Eagle sitting upon a boulder surveying his territory.... pulled over to try and get some pics of him and managed to get remarkably close. I know it’s not a super-sharp photo as I was having to zoom in with the iPhone. Still a very impressive and beautiful beastie though!
